WHAT IS MICROCHANNELING?Microchanneling is a noninvasive procedure designed to stimulate your body’s own natural ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other building blocks of healthy skin. By stimulating the outermost layers of the skin, microchanneling can help your body start this process without penetrating into living tissue.
-
DOES IT HURT?With minimal physical discomfort, most clients are able to do the procedure without numbing cream and without any noticeable pain. There is no lingering discomfort, and we have a number of strategies we employ to minimize discomfort during treatment. Post-procedure, most people report a “tight” feeling in their skin.
-
WHAT SKIN CONDITIONS WILL THIS HELP?Microchanneling treatments can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring and stretch marks
-
MY SKIN IS IRRITATED AFTER SERVICE?It is normal for treatments to result in some skin irritation, especially for clients with more sensitive skin. Always wait a minimum of 90 minutes before putting anything else on the skin. During this time it is normal for the skin to remain pink or light red. After the 90 minutes you can apply additional moisturizer or other products. Keep in mind however, that as your skin may be more sensitive than usual for several days after the treatment, especially strong topicals should be avoided until the skin returns to normal.
-
HOW LONG BEFORE I CAN EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?New collagen can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity and wrinkles.
-
ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS?If you have any underlying condition that significantly impairs your immune system, it is a good idea to avoid microchanneling. Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder. Also anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment. We also discourage treatments for those who are pregnant or nursing.
-
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?The number of treatments necessary will range greatly depending on what we are treating. On average, for light anti-aging treatments, 1-2 treatments may be sufficient. For deeper wrinkles and acne scarring, 4-5 treatments may be required to achieve desired results. There is no limit to the number of treatments that one can receive as long as adequate time passes in-between each treatment (1 month). And as always, maintaining your investment with maintenance sessions is highly recommended.
-
MICRO-CHANNELING AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONSUse of the aftercare products ensure the skin continuously receives potent, robust, pristine peptides, cytokines and growth factors even in between treatments. Think of diet and exercise – microchanneling without serums is like exercising without dieting. Results can be good with microchanneling only, but are significantly amplified with serums. A sunburn-like effect is normal. The treated area may appear pink in color, but will resolve in 24 hours. The skin may feel tight, dry, swollen, itchy and sensitive to the touch. You may experience peeling in the several days after the treatment. After Care Products and Regimen: Do not cleanse your face for the reminder of the day after the treatment. The following day you can cleanse the treated area gently with a gentle cleanser. Apply the Procell after care to the clean treated area in the morning and evening. You may also resume your daily skin regimen the next day avoiding Retin-A, Retinols and harsh chemicals and peels for 7 days. Sun exposure must be avoided for at least 24 hours after your treatment. If you know you will get incidental sun exposure, i.e., driving to and from work, walking from your car to the house, etc., we recommend physical avoidance of the sun in all treated areas, wear a protective hat and a full spectrum sun block of SPF 30 or higher. Do not use exfoliating medications, chemicals or products on the treated areas for at least 2 weeks. Waxing and/or use of chemical depilatories must be avoided for 2 weeks after the treatment. Shaving is allowed 24 hours before treatment and 48-72 hours after treatment as long as there is no skin irritation. Avoid exercise that causes sweating, jacuzzis, swimming, saunas or steam baths for 3 days. Sleep on your back with your head elevated slightly to reduce swelling.
-
HOW QUICK IS THE RECOVERY TIME?Generally, clients are able to return to their schedules with almost zero downtime. Skin may be red for a day, depending on skin sensitivity. You can return to work day-of if you need, and can apply mineral makeup within 90 minutes of treatment. Ideally, however, we recommend leaving your skin bare for the rest of the day of the treatment

WHAT IS A FACIAL?A basic facial is a skin treatment that cleanses pores, exfoliates away dead skin cells, and treats common skin concerns with a custom mask and a facial massage.
-
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A FACIAL?Basic facials deeply cleanse skin and may help fight certain skin problems, such as mild acne or dryness. The treatments leave faces glowing and are typically very relaxing, as they include a massage component.
-
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A FACIAL?Each facial begins with a consultation that helps the an esthetician determine the right products for your skin type and concerns. Once that's been determined, the relaxing part begins! Most basic facials include some version of the following steps: 1. Cleansing 2. Facial massage 3. Exfoliation 4. Extractions (if need it) 5. Masks 6. Serum and moisturizer 7. Sunscreen, if it's daytime.
-
WHAT WILL MY SKIN LOOK LIKE RIGHT AFTER A FACIAL?You will leave with glowing skin! However, most facials come with extractions or peels, so some redness may occur right after the facial.
-
HOW LONG DOES A FACIAL TAKE?Most basic facials last 60 minutes.
-
DO I HAVE TO GET COMPLETELY UNDRESSED FOR A FACIAL?This is completely up to you. Most people choose to undress completely, and some choose to leave on their underwear. Or you may choose to wear your clothes, it's whatever you are comfortable with. If you do decide to leave your clothes on, just make sure at least take your shirt off and bra straps pill down. Your comfort is our priority. Please remove all jewelry before facial. Prior to your facial, your esthetician will instruct you how to lay on the bed and will exit the room for you to get completely comfortable. During your facial, you’ll wear a wrap under the sheet that allows your neck, arms and décolleté to be exposed for treatments. We do ask that any guests under the age of 17 wear a bathing suit or under garments while receiving services. Upon completion of the treatment, your esthetician will again step out of the treatment room to allow you to redress.
-
WHAT IF I'VE NEVER HAD A FACIAL OR ANY TREAMENTS BEFORE?No worries. I will walk you through the treatment, explaining what you’ll be experiencing every step of the way from beginning to end.
-
SHOULD MEN SHAVE BEFORE A FACIAL?You don't have to shave, but if you do, please be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Do not shaving if you're getting chemical peels/enzyme.
-
SHOULD I AVOID ANY TREATMENTS IF I AM PREGNANT?Your physician can best advise you on which treatments are safe. We also suggest that you avoid treatments using chemical peels and High frequency
-
I'M TAKING MEDICATION FOR MY SKIN, CAN I STILL GET A TREATMENT?"We will not perform peels, microdermabrasion or hair removal services on pregnant women or on guests who are using Retin A, Accutane, Avage, Tazorac, Differin or any other medications that increase skin exfoliation or compromise the skin. Peels, microdermabrasion or hair removal cannot be performed on people who have recently had laser treatments, plastic surgery or a sunburn.
-
BREAKING OUT AFTER A FACIALIt’s annoying — but also a good sign. It's called purging. Everyone’s skin is unique, so that time frame can differ from person to person. Generally speaking, dermatologists say purging should be over within four to six weeks of starting a new skin care regimen or a facial.
-
CHEMICAL PEEL VS ENZYMEBoth chemical peels and enzyme peels deeply exfoliate to reveal brighter younger looking skin without surgery. Chemical Peels include alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs). AHAs include Glycolic, Lactic, Malic, Tartaric, Mandelic and Azelaic. chemical peels give you deeper exfoliation and may require a little downtime. Enzymes are naturally derived active ingredients found in many fruits. Pomegranate, Pumpkin, Papaya, Pineapple and Figs. Enzyme peels offer a more gentle solution that can be incorporated into a regular skincare regimen.

-
HOW LONG DOES THE ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT PROCEDURE TAKE?The procedure takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
-
WILL IT DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?No, a certified and trained Elleebana Lash Lift specialist will perform the procedure with proper care and technique.
-
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT AND A LASH PERM?The difference is that the lashes are lifted at the root instead of the tip of the lashes, giving the lashes a full complete curl instead of just at the tip.
-
WHAT IS THE MAINTENANCE WITH THE ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT?This procedure requires very little maintenance and is perfect for anyone that doesn’t have time for regular upkeep. The Elleebana Lash Lift will last 6-8 weeks, depending on your lash cycle. Please note that lash serums, biotin, and/or medication(s) can affect the lash cycle, resulting in quicker lash shedding.
-
WHAT SHOULD I AVOID AFTER MY ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT?Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. Avoid steam rooms and saunas; overall, refrain from all heat. After 24 hours, you may go about with your daily routine. The Elleebana Lash Lift has no restrictions or maintenance like eyelash extensions.
-
CAN MASCARA BE APPLIED AFTER THE PROCEDURE?Allow 24 hours before applying any type of product to your lashes. After 24 hours, you may apply mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, or any type of makeup products you desire; it will not affect the lashes.
-
WHAT’S THE ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT PROCESS LIKE?Your bottom lashes eyelids are covered with a gel pad. Your eyes are to remain closed during the entire process. Depending on the length of your natural lashes, a silicone rod (comes in 3 sizes - small, medium, and large) is placed on top of the eyelids to determine which size silicone rod best suits your lashes to achieve the best lift. Once the size is determined; the rod is placed onto the eyelids and a lash glue (water-soluble) is used to push the natural lashes back onto the rod - a lash setting solution is applied for 5-7 minutes on both sides. The setting solution then gets removed with a micro-swab and the lash neutralizer solution is applied on both sides for 5 minutes. If adding eyelash tinting, the process will take place after the neutralizer is removed. The tinting portion takes about 15-20 minutes. We offer 2 differents rods Regular and Extreme, and the both come in 3 different sizes; small, medium and large. The Extreme Shields will give you the power to offer extreme, dramatically lifted lashes. The original rods offer a more natural curl.
-
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NOVALASH AND OTHER BRANDS?Simply put, it's the adhesive. NovaLash has developed Platinum Bond Adhesive, an award winning physician formulated, medical-grade adhesive that lasts up to four times longer than competing brands. Platinum Bond by Novalash is the most durable lash extension adhesive available, rubber toughened, extra flexible, extra strength bond, highly resistant to heat and friction, physician approved, medical grade, highly waterproof and OIL RESISTANT, Touch ups required at 4 weeks. THE NOVALASH WAY. Healthiest, most natural application technique.
-
HOW ARE THEY APPLIED AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?The lash extensions are adhered to your natural lashes individually, using a medical grade adhesive, resulting in a totally natural look. A full set would average an application of between 60-90 lashes for classic. For a complete application, it takes 2- 3 hours. After four weeks, a touch up will take 1 - 1.5 hours
-
HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?When applied properly, lash extensions can be worn throughout the year monthly fills and home care maintenance. The lashes last the life span of your natural lash, approximately 90 days. When the natural lash is shed, the extension will be released with it. To maintain the full, thick appearance of a new set of NovaLash Eyelash Extensions, Touch-ups are recommended after the initial full set application every 3 to 4 weeks.
-
HOW COME MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS ARE COMING OFF?Naturally, you may lose up to 10 lashes a day, which is NORMAL. Keep in mind they do grow back. If the extensions are falling off without your natural lash, it could be due to some makeup removers and mascaras. Rubbing, pulling and playing with lashes also encourage lash loss. Refrain from unnecessary touching of your eyelash extensions.
-
DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS HARM MY NATURAL EYELASHES?No. When applied properly by a trained technician, each extension is applied on a single natural lash. This protects other lashes from adhering to one another, thus eliminating the pull and tug factor. However, if there is any irritation, please contact me directly.
-
CAN I WEAR MASCARA WITH MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS?Yes, although you don’t need to. Mascara specially formulated for eyelash extensions is recommended if you choose to wear it. Clumping, extending or waterproof mascara is to be avoided as it is hard to clean your new extensions properly and will cause irritation.

WHAT IS DERMAPLANING?Dermaplaning is a non-traumatic method of skin rejuvenation using a scalpel blade. Uses a sterile Dermaplaning blade with light strokes to simply shave the skin’s surface, removing dead dry epidermal skin cells, while at the same time removing facial Vellus hair. Clients with hirsutism, a condition of excessive male-pattern hair growth in women. Allergy to nickel Numerous raised lesions on the skin Active inflamed acne Current use of Accutane, must be off of it for six months Uncontrolled diabetes Dermatitis Active cold sores Skin cancer
-
ANY RISKS?Though the risk is minimal, the possible side effects include but are not limited to: skin tightness, mild to moderate redness, mild flaking, possible nicks.
-
WHAT ARE THE POST CAREWash your face with a gentle cleanser and avoid topical products that contain alpha or beta hydroxy acids, retinols or Retin A for approximately 48 hours. Under no circumstances should you use a scrub type product that abrades the skin within that 48 hour period. Avoid direct sun exposure for 3 days. As with any resurfacing treatment, skin will be more at risk from UV so avoid sun exposure as much as possible and ensure it’s protected with an SPF 30. Avoid excessive heat 72 hours post treatment, i.e. heavy workouts, steam rooms or saunas. Avoid chlorine for 1 week
-
CAN YOU COMBINE OTHER PROCEDURES WITH DERMAPLANING?While Dermaplaning can be a stand-alone exfoliation procedure it’s very helpful to combine Dermaplaning with other procedures: Pre deep pore cleansing extractions Pre enzyme, acid or chemical peel Pre Cryo Therapy (Stainless Steele Ice Roller) Post Microdermabrasion Post Micro-Needling
-
WHAT AREAS OF THE SKIN CAN BE TREATED?Dermaplaning the skin is performed on the face only. Dermaplaning may not be performed on the eyelids, lower part of the neck and chest. I may be performed on the sides of the nose, behind the ears and under the jaw to create a smooth even look from the face to the neck
-
DOES THE SKIN VISIBLY PEEL FROM DERMAPLANING?Sometimes the skin may become dry and flaky and signs of peeling are noticeable after Dermaplaning. If using a chemical peel after Dermaplaning peeling will definitely occur
-
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT TO SEE FROM DERMAPLANING?Dermaplaning is most often used on clients with rough, dry skin, superficial hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, or fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment results in a more refined, smooth, “glowing” appearance. There is no downtime associated with this procedure. The client should be educated about the importance of using sunscreen to reduce the chance of hyperpigmentation. This is truly one of my favorite types of exfoliation. I think that the exfoliation process is fool-proof. Overall, I think that Dermaplaning the skin is a great way to treat two skin conditions; dull skin and a fuzzy face
-
WHY DOESN'T THE HAIR GROW BACK THICKER?There are two types of hair that grow on our bodies. Vellus hair (tiny translucent blonde hair) on our face and Terminal hair, thicker hair that grows under the arms, pubic area, eye brows, legs and mustache and beard area for men.Vellus hair when cut or removed will grow back the same (or less) and softer. Dermaplaning removes the hair off of the surface level of your skin, without affecting the actual follicle. Hair grows at a blunt edge, so a client may feel that hair growth coming back in and think that it is thicker, but that is not the case. Once the hair has fully grown back in, it will look and feel exactly the same as before. You can’t change the structure of the hair follicle from dermaplaning or shaving
-
HOW OFTEN IS THIS PROCEDURE PERFORMED?Ideally Dermaplaning is performed once a month as part of your facial care
-
CAN I CANCEL AT ANYTIME?No Long Term Commitment, can cancel at anytime. But you can only cancel 2x after that you won't be able to rejoined.

A "$25 freeze fee" may apply. Members can redeem accumulated services during a freeze but cannot utilize any additional membership benefits (i.e. bringing guests, gift card purchases, retail discounts). WHAT IS HYDRODERMABRASION?Hydrodermabrasion is the latest in skincare and an alternative to microdermabrasion without the use of crystals or diamond tips to abrade the skin. Instead, it combines the natural benefits of oxygen and water to shoot a pressurized stream of solution onto the skin. The high velocity of this procedure effectively removes dead skin cells at first contact, exfoliating and soothing the skin at the same time. Hydrodermabrasion hydrates, cleanses, and revitalizes skin while supporting healthy blood circulation. Better circulation, in turn, promotes the production of collagen and elastin fibers that tighten the skin and promote a youthful look. Now, you can receive all the benefits of microdermabrasion without any of the irritatable side effects!
